It’s all about smartphones in the digital age. Even when it comes time to study for the PMP(r), we all want it on-the-go. The PMP(r), apps are great for those who travel and don’t have a laptop.
Common problem I hear from PMP(r), aspirants, is the inability to find time to study. You may have travel, work, and social obligations. However, you can still manage your time well to study and pass your PMP(r).
You can use these PMP(r), such as the one below, to practice PMP(r), concepts next time you’re waiting in line or on a bus. It is important to fit studying into your daily routine. Regular practice will help you grasp project management concepts and pass your PMP(r).
Remember that these sacrifices are temporary. After you have been certified, which takes about 1 to 3 months, you can keep your PMP(r), credentials for life without needing to take any more exams. However, you do need to renew the credential every 3 years.
These apps do not replace PMP(r), and will not allow you to complete your 35 contact hours. These apps are intended to be used as a supplement or companion tool when you are on the move.
These apps are great for tech-savvy students who want to learn more about the PMP(r). We will be discussing the top 3 free PMP (r) apps that you can download in this post.
PMP(r)ro
This app is my favorite PMP(r), as it has everything in one place. This app allows you to look up definitions, learn formulas, and practice questions. This app has more than 1000 definitions for common terms in project management.
This app also includes 170 practice questions. These questions can be divided into knowledge areas or full-length exams. These practice questions can be taken in exam mode or test mode. You can save your scores so you can track how you progress.

Pocket Prep
The app includes 75 practice questions. Each question has an explanation explaining the correct answer. Your dashboard tracks your scores so you can see how you do in each Process Group.
This app will help you stay on track and achieve your goals. To remind yourself to study, you can enter your exam date and set study reminders to your phone. This is a great tool if you forget to study.

Free PMP(r), Trainer
PMP(r), Trainer Free is another app that allows you to practice PMP(r). It tracks your performance according to both Knowledge Areas as well as Process Groups. Although the interface is not as intuitive as the other apps, it is still worth checking out if you want to practice more questions.
